Droolworthy

Hello, Darlings!

Over the past few months it's just been crazy - truckloads of homework, exams, and papers, in addition to my cousin's wedding that my family helped plan. She got married last week, and the hard work certainly paid off.
But indeed, I am finally, truly back - and with my top 3 drool-overs for the spring:

Halston dress: $1995
Alex Monroe locket: $555
Miu Miu clutch $550

I simply can't decide which one I like the best! I think Miu Miu clutch has taken over my heart though - after all, orange is going to be hot hot hot this season and the texture of the bag is so damn gorgeous!

What are YOUR top 3 droolworthy items for the spring? I would love to know! :]

♥ lots, Jenna

=(

Aii. Sorry I've been totally M.I.A. for the past, what...month? More than that. I've just been so busy with school, exams, family...urgh. I can't guarantee regular posting from now on, but I definitely WILL try my hardest to.

UPDATES:

-I actually did end up purchasing the Marc Jacobs heels in my last-last post! Well, actually, I didn't really purchase them, my friend got them for me for my b-day. They are actually very comfortable, despite the high heel, and I wore them for a long night out without my feet getting blisters. However, they are a bit easily scuffed, since they are patent leather. But they are a really good color pop to my outfits.
-I also bought a very soft cashmere scarf from Sutton Studio. It's purple, :), and I can't wait to wear it in the winter!
-I got a fringe! As in, blunt cut bangs. They are so easy to style; I love love loe them!
-I am absolutely DROOOOLING over this Marchesa dress.

And last but not least...
I just wanted to share these FABULOUS Gucci heels with you:

Well, that's all for now. Sorry about the quick post, but I really am very overwhelmed with homework and studying for school exams...UGH. :(

Love,
Jenna xoxo

Fall 08 Makeup Trend: Colorful Eyeshadows

Colorful eyeshadows are all over the fall 2008 runways. Some designers stuck to pin and peaches with bright liner, while others swept eye-popping, glittery colors over the lid.

Michael Kors & Prada

Anna Sui & Missoni

I personally really love the look of colorful shadows, especially in purples and blues. It's so edgy, and I love a bright eye with nude lips and bronzed cheeks.

Sorry about the lack of posting - my family from England came to visit for two weeks, and we took them sightseeing as well as shopping (of course!) in Los Angeles, so I have been really busy. They left a few days ago, so I'll be back to regularly posting from now on.

Also, I will be doing a Want of the Moment post every week or so. So, my Want of the Moment is:
A double-breasted trench coat for fall in blue, purple, or beige. It can be long or short, but I am really wanting one to wear with a pair of slim jeans and boots, or to wear over a dress with tights and ankle boots.

I'm watching the Olympics - very excited for diving, as that is my favorite sport to watch. =)

Fantastical : }

I saw these shoes on piperlime and fell in LOVE with them at once. They're Marc by Marc Jacobs and $335. Funky & edgy; love love love love love them! They would be such a cute colorful accent for an outfit.
Yay or nay?

Went shopping yesterday and refrained from purchasing anything, good for me. Although there were a few things that were tempting, especially in the shoe & jewelry departments. :)
I'm rambling, but while I'm at it, here's what I still want for the rest of the summer:
-A pair of bright pumps (like the ones above! :))
-Tiered skirt, kind of flouncy-ish, that hits a little lower than midthigh
-Skinny headbands to wear in twos
-A smocked top in blue, white, gray, or pale yellow
-A cute cuff
-A pair of t-strap wedges, about 1 1/2 to 2 inches high
-A pair of dressy shorts in black (like a silk pair)
-Yellow shorts

...Do you have any wants for the rest of the summer?

Dragonflies & Leaves

About a week ago I went to Forever 21 today to look for some cute but not too trashy-looking necklaces. After some browsing, I noticed this whimsical necklace and bought it - it was only $3.80.
I wore it a couple of times, but this morning, I noticed that the small blue charm had fallen off! I looked around for it in vain, but couldn't find it in the house. Finally, I went to the garage and found it by the car - it must have fallen off when I got out of the car yesterday. I managed to secure it back on with a pair of needle-nose pliers, and tightened the loops on the other charms as well.
I like F21 jewelry, but the thing is that they don't have the best craftsmanship, since they're so cheap. For you F21 buyers, I recommend that you tighten the loops on the charms before wearing it out in case one of the charms falls off!

Splendiferous.

Yesterday, while flipping through a magazine on my couch, I was delighted to hear the doorbell and receive my most recent purchase, a brown Botkier satchel. I had had my eye on this bag for quite a while - I've always fawned over these gorgeous bags. They're so perfect. I love the ruched oversized pockets, and the leather is so amazingly soft. Not to mention that these bags come in a lot of nice colors, too. Also, they're so practical because the size is just right for all of your things you need when going out.
After eagerly seizing the bag out of the box, I immediately transferred all of my things from my other purse to my new, fabulous Botkier one. I threw on a striped tank and swing jacket, tapered jeans, and a pair of peep toe flats, and was off to go to the nearest Starbucks, happily toting my new bag.
I just can't get over the leather - it's so unbelievably soft - I just wanted to rest my head on it like a pillow. Of course, I had to resist my urge and keep my purse on my shoulder, or else I would definitely get some strange looks.
Anyway, I did buy my Stila Smudge Pot, and now, I am being very careful not to leave it in the car. Seriously. I do not want to deal a pot of dark brown melty goop ever again. I also purchased a Shiseido eyeliner, which I am in love with. It's so soft and easy to work with and isn't really severe, but has minimal smudging and stays on for a long time. I also have my eye on their shadows that come in a little jar - I love the colors.
Well. I am currently in love with jellybeans. I sound like such a pig, right? But really. They are so good. I especially love the sour ones from Jelly Belly. I have been snacking on them all day, in between lapses of admiring my beautiful, wonderful, splendiferous bag.
